The plan is to escape the siege and keep the gold safe, keeping the invaders at bay long enough for a new tunnel to be dug under the mountain. This sounds simple, but problems arise in the course of the plan: Goblins emerge from the mountain wanting their share, and a handful of Trolls join the Orc horde. And, to top it off, many of the weapons and tools that are needed to implement the plan have been rendered useless over time, now in need of repair.<\/p>\n
Will this group of brave dwarves succumb to the terrible siege they have been placed under, or will they manage to find some way to resist and escape, taking the precious treasure with them?<\/p>\n
The Siege of Runedar<\/strong><\/em> is a cooperative game for 1-4 players who take on the roles of dwarves tasked with defending Runedar's walls and the treasure they hold. They will have to face orcs, goblins and trolls, fighting in hand-to-hand combat against those who manage to pass through the walls and shooting, from a distance, those who try to enter. A deck-building system allows players to upgrade their weapons and tools, while holding the stronghold long enough to tunnel and escape such a terrible right, and to bring the treasure to safety.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Since ancient times, the mines of Runedar have provided a supply of gold for generations of dwarves.
