Lang and Michael Shinall, in which you and your friends will lead your House armies into battle, controlling infantry, cavalry, and more. Iconic characters like Jaime Lannister and Robb Stark – both available in the base game – can lead your troops, providing special abilities to the units they are assigned to. Even those who choose a more political battleground, like Cersei Lannister, have an impact on combat, giving new tactical options through tactical decks.

A Song of Ice & Fire is a game for everyone – from more experienced players, who will be able to put all their skill and strategy to the test, to beginners in board games, who will be able to play with ease due to the simplicity of the rules.

Each House is designed to bring a different feel to the game. For example, House Stark is full of aggressive units. They love getting close to enemy forces, utilizing their maneuverability and positioning, and engaging them in hand-to-hand combat. Heroes like Robb Stark fill their tactical deck with simple actions. On the contrary, the Lannisters prefer to attack their enemies' morale rather than stabbing them to death. Due to their great wealth, the Lannisters have the best weapons and armor money can buy and their tactic is to play with the minds of their enemies. But money only goes so far when life is at stake. Lannister morale can be a little shaky, as money is of little use when you're dead.

The highly detailed thumbnails of A Song of Ice & Fire are based on original artwork and approved by George RR Martin and your team.

A Song of Ice & Fire lets you recreate your favorite moments from the book series, as well as create any other scenario.
