In it you earn points by joining the sectarians to your cause, which they pledge after their victories in skirmishes against their opponents.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The skirmish takes place over five turns, where players have to recruit soldiers and make them followers of their army. At the end of the fifth turn, the player with the strongest army (with the highest score) wins the skirmish and attracts the most valuable cultist. But be careful, even though your opponent&#039;s army is apparently smaller, it can be more powerful if it&#039;s made up of soldiers from the same clan. And also be aware of the soldiers available to be recruited, as each one has its specific skill, which can be decisive for the victory of that skirmish.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">At the end of the skirmish, all cards are discarded, except those in your hand, starting a new skirmish\/round, in which the Lords will again have to recruit soldiers and make them become followers of their army. There is no set number of rounds for the end of the game, it happens when a player reaches 40 points in sectarians. Whoever has the most points in cultists will be crowned the new King of Scotland!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Lords of Scotland<\/strong> features design elements from the Three-Dragon Ante, Condottiere and Havoc: The Hundred Years War and takes place during the period of Scottish history in which the country struggles for independence.
